Growing up in Houston, Chip Moore graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture in 1984 and earned his State of Texas Architect License in 1987.  When the Texas economy dried up in the late 1980’s, Chip joined several other Texas architects in a group ‘exodus’ to Los Angeles, California.  Gaining considerable commercial and residential experience with some well-known firms there and in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chip became licensed in California in 2003. After 25 years on the west coast, Chip returned to central Texas in 2014 to establish MOORE ARCHITECTURE, which handles residential projects from interior remodeling, to various sizes of home additions, to a completely new custom home on a vacant property. Chip became considerably more familiar with the construction process while serving as the architectural side of Austin’s well-established RealmBuild, Inc. design-build firm from 2015 through 2020. MOORE ARCHITECTURE keeps busy with commercial buildings and tenant improvement projects as well.
